###NP/PA Emergency Medicine Opening - Urbana, IL ###Position Details * Seeking a BE/BC Advanced Practice Provider to join our busy, Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Department in Urbana, Illinois. * Variable/rotating schedule: 12-hour shifts, 13-14 shifts required per 4-week block. Schedule rotates shifts monthly, including days, evenings, and overnights. 3 holidays per year (one being Christmas or Thanksgiving) / 4 weekends -shifts per 4-week block * APP friendly group including over 15 APPs, 45 EM Physicians and on-site ED Pharmacists and ED Social Workers. No EM Residency Program * Evaluate and treat patients with ESI 1-5 * Level 1 Trauma Center with an average of 200-300 patients per day, over 92,000 visits per year * 24-hour in-house coverage provided by Anesthesiology, Hospitalists, OB/GYN, Intensivists, Pediatric Hospitalists, PICU, and Trauma Surgery ###Education Requirements: * Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant * Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine APP experience required ###**Licensure/Certification Requirements:* * Current Illinois Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice Nurse licensure/Physician Assistant licensure ###Compensation Package: * Excellent benefit package * Health/dental/life insurance * 403-B plan with employer match * LTD * Relocation allowance * CME allowance * Paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance covered ###About the Location: Globally connected, innovative and culturally rich, Champaign-Urbana is centrally located to Chicago, Indianapolis and St. Louis and is home to one of the world's greatest public research universities - the Big Ten University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
