A Georgia-based health services organization is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Acute Care team in in the Greater Atlanta area. This role supports critically ill patients in a high-acuity setting and works closely with attending physicians to deliver evidence-based care.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day shift
- Schedule: Monday through Sunday
- Hours: 12-hour shifts
- Setting: In-person, ICU
Responsibilities:
- Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
- Collaborate with attending physicians to develop and communicate the plan of care
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
- Enter orders and document histories, physicals, consultations, follow-up notes, and procedure notes in the EMR
- Interpret diagnostic testing and participate in multidisciplinary rounds
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in an ICU setting
- GA Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Active national and state licensure
- Experience performing ICU procedures, including central and arterial line insertions
- Ability to support credentialing requirements for procedure experience
Desired Skills:
- Experience using Cerner EMR
- Experience with central venous catheter, vascath, introducer, and arterial line placement
