Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) – Emergency Medicine & Urgent Care

Southern Tier, New York | Full-Time W2 Position

Delphi Healthcare is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing team in the Southern Tier region of New York. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across both Urgent Care and Emergency Department settings while gaining valuable Emergency Medicine experience in a supportive, physician-led environment.

This role is ideal for providers who enjoy clinical variety, value teamwork, and are looking to expand their Emergency Medicine skillset while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Position Highlights

  • Full-Time W2 Position
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • 10–12 Hour Shifts
  • Practice Settings: Urgent Care and Emergency Department
  • $25,000 Full Employment Agreement (FEA) Incentive
  • One-Year Employment Agreement
  • Opportunity for expanded Emergency Department coverage as experience develops
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive support structure

Clinical Environment

Providers will practice within collaborative community-based Emergency Departments and Urgent Care centers alongside experienced Emergency Medicine physicians and fellow APPs.

The Emergency Department environment offers manageable patient volumes, averaging approximately 25–40 patient visits per day, allowing providers to deliver high-quality patient care without the pressures commonly associated with larger metropolitan facilities. APPs work closely with attending physicians in a team-based model that promotes mentorship, professional development, and clinical autonomy.

This position provides excellent exposure to a wide variety of urgent and emergent medical conditions while offering the support needed to continue developing Emergency Medicine skills and confidence.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience preferred
  • Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Hospital Medicine, or related experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Local candidates preferred; relocation to the Southern Tier region will be considered

Why Join Delphi Healthcare?

  • Gain experience in both Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine settings
  • Work alongside experienced Emergency Medicine physicians and APPs
  • Supportive clinical leadership and mentorship
  • Opportunity for continued growth and advancement within Emergency Medicine
  • Mission-driven organization focused on delivering exceptional community-based care
  • Enjoy the quality of life, affordability, and outdoor recreation opportunities that the Southern Tier region of New York offers

If you are seeking a position that offers clinical diversity, professional growth, and a supportive team environment, we encourage you to apply and learn more about joining Delphi Healthcare.
