Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging when necessary
• Perform urgent care procedures and manage patient treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff
• Maintain accurate patient documentation within the electronic medical record system
• Contribute to a positive and supportive healthcare environment
Qualifications
• Physician Assistant – Active NCCPA board certification required
• Minimum 12 months of experience in emergency medicine or high-volume urgent care
• Ability to manage both adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced environment
Working Hours
• Flexible urgent care shift schedule
• No on-call responsibilities
• Rotating shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Skills
• Emergency and urgent care clinical assessment
• Patient triage and treatment planning
• Pediatric and adult patient management
• Clinical procedures commonly performed in urgent care settings
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• EMR documentation and patient care coordination
