Position Overview
An established hospital in Nags Head, NC is seeking a Locum Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for inpatient Emergency Department coverage. Candidates must have recent ED inpatient experience within the last 12 months.
This is a no-call opportunity within a collaborative and well-supported clinical environment.

- Established team of 6 physicians and 3 APPs
- Specialty consult availability: general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and telestroke
- System-wide EMR: EPIC
- No ICU/Critical Care duties
- No call required
- Provider responsible for responding to codes
Requirements
- Active North Carolina license
- Active NC DEA
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS/APLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- ED inpatient experience within the last 12 months required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced acute care setting
Compensation
- $100 per hour
- Weekly pay and malpractice coverage included.
