I am the system medical director for Sound Physicians emergency medicine (EM) practice at Via Christi Pittsburg in Pittsburg, Kansas. I’ve proudly been a part of Sound for the past three years, and I welcome physicians and advanced practice providers (APPs) who seek new opportunities or are embarking on a career change. Practice

• We are a community-based hospital with a 16-bed emergency department, seeing over 19,000 visits annually.
• We are looking for emergency medicine or family medicine with emergency medicine experience and board-certified/eligible physicians.
• Recognizing the importance of work-life balance, we offer a flexible schedule. We are always there to support each other when covering shifts. Currently, our shift times are 6 am-6 pm.
• Benefit from robust subspecialty support and imaging services, ensuring exceptional care and diagnostics for our patients.
• Expected annual salary based on 144 hours per month is $121,000.
