Position Overview

An established and well-respected multi-specialty medical practice in Ocala, Florida, providing comprehensive outpatient healthcare services to the local community, is seeking a Physician Assistant to join its Dermatology team.

This is an outpatient Dermatology opportunity focused on the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with a variety of dermatological conditions. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish and English and have strong clinical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients presenting with a variety of dermatological conditions.

• Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations.

• Diagnose and manage common dermatological conditions.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.

• Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

• Perform or assist with dermatology procedures based on training and scope of practice.

• Provide patient education regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care.

• Provide ongoing follow-up and monitor patient response to treatment.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

• Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  

• Active Florida Physician Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

• Previous Dermatology experience preferred.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
