Position Overview

A small, physician-owned dermatology practice in the Princeton, New Jersey area is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide general and medical dermatology care. This opportunity offers a consistent three-day schedule, dedicated medical assistant support, and a collaborative practice environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience required

• Strong general and medical dermatology background

• Ability to independently manage a dermatology patient population

• New Jersey license preferred

• Excision experience preferred, but not required

• Cosmetic and aesthetic experience welcomed, but not required

• Mohs experience not required

Schedule & Patient Volume

• Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

• 3 days per week

• Approximately 25 patients per day

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide general and medical dermatology care

• Perform full-body skin examinations

• Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions

• Perform dermatologic procedures within the provider’s scope of practice

• Perform excisions, depending on experience

• No Mohs responsibilities

Practice Support & Technology

• One dedicated medical assistant assigned to the provider

• Small, collaborative practice environment

• EMR: ModMed EMA

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary commensurate with experience

• Percentage-based bonus tied to collections

• Bonus typically paid every six months after established collection thresholds are met

• 401(k)

• CME allowance
