Dermatology NP/PA Opening in MN Located in Fergus Falls, MN Position Highlights:

  • Full-time outpatient Dermatology opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Monday–Friday clinic hours, 7am–5pm
  • Option for a 4–4.5 day work week
  • 36 patient contact hours per week for a 1.0 FTE
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of dermatologic conditions
  • Treat conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin infections, and skin cancers
  • Perform biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures
  • Prescribe medications and biologic therapies
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide patient education
  • Collaborate closely with Dermatologists and other healthcare professionals
  • EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefits: $125,000–$135,000 annual salary Competitive sign-on bonus Relocation assistance available Annual CME reimbursement allowance Paid professional dues and memberships 6 weeks of time off per calendar year Health and dental insurance Short-term and long-term disability insurance Professional liability insurance provided 401(k) eligibility after 6 months with generous employer contribution Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program Current Minnesota NP or PA license or eligibility to obtain Dermatology certification or relevant Dermatology experience BLS certification required DEA registration required Strong clinical knowledge of dermatologic conditions and treatments Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Dermatology Nurse Practitioner Certification (DCNP) or Dermatology Physician Assistant Certification (DPA-C) preferred Community: Fergus Falls is a community of approximately 14,000 residents in west-central Minnesota Low cost of living and strong public and private schools More than 1,100 lakes throughout Otter Tail County Extensive opportunities for fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and golf 55-mile paved biking and walking trail begins in Fergus Falls Five lakes and 19 parks and recreational areas within city limits Glendalough and Maplewood State Parks are both within 20 miles Approximately 1 hour from Fargo, ND Approximately 2.5 hours from Minneapolis–St. Paul Convenient access to international airports in Fargo and Minneapolis–St. Paul
