We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with Dermatology experience for a full-time locum opportunity at an Outpatient Clinic in Rochester, New York. This role involves providing comprehensive dermatologic care to approximately 25–35 patients per day while working alongside a dedicated clinical support team. The provider will primarily practice at one outpatient clinic with the possibility of floating to another nearby location as needed. Recent Epic EMR experience is required.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive skin examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Provide outpatient dermatology care for approximately 25–35 patients per day.
• Document patient encounters accurately using Epic EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
• Float to nearby outpatient clinic locations as needed.
• Maintain high standards of patient care and clinical documentation.
Qualifications
• Active New York Physician Assistant license required.
• Minimum 3 years of recent Dermatology experience required.
• Recent Epic EMR experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting.
Working Hours
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM day shifts.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Full-time locum assignment.
• Assignment duration: 26 weeks.
