Job Responsibilities
This is a clinical dermatology-focused role (no cosmetic requirement) with strong physician collaboration and autonomy in daily practice.
-Perform full-body skin exams and dermatologic evaluations
-Diagnose and manage conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rashes, and infections
-Identify and treat precancerous and cancerous lesions (AK, BCC, SCC, melanoma within scope)
-Perform dermatologic procedures:
-Biopsies (shave, punch, excisional)
-Cryotherapy
-Lesion removal
-Wound care
-Develop and manage treatment plans
-Prescribe medications per guidelines
-Educate patients on skin health and prevention
-Maintain accurate EMR documentation
-Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
-NP or PA degree from an accredited program
-Active North Carolina license (or ability to obtain)
-National certification (AANP/ANCC or NCCPA)
-Minimum 1 year dermatology experience
-Experience with dermatologic procedures
Preferred
-Dermatology certification (DCNP or equivalent)
-Experience with dermatoscopy
-EMR familiarity
-Interest in community-based or rural healthcare
Working Hours
-Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
-Flexible scheduling available (including 4x10s)
Skills
