We are seeking a dedicated provider in Springfield, IL for a position focusing on skin cancer screenings. This role requires strong clinical knowledge and excellent interpersonal skills to ensure a positive patient experience.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: January 21, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM; January 22, 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
- Schedule: Wednesday and Thursday
- Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Setting: On-site at the Illinois State Fairgrounds
Responsibilities:
- Conducting visual skin exams
- Identifying sun damage or suspicious moles
- Providing sun-protection guidance
- Documenting findings in EMR
- Ensuring a positive and caring patient experience
Qualifications:
- Experience in skin cancer screenings
- Relevant healthcare degree
- EMR documentation proficiency
- Ability to provide sun-protection guidance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent bedside manner
- Professionalism
- Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- Local to Springfield, IL
- Specialization in dermatology or a related field
- Certification in dermatology care (if applicable)
