Neurocritical Care Advanced Practitioner
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a nonprofit academic health system serving Northern, New England with a service area of over 1.9 million in Lebanon, NH, is seeking experienced, licensed Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to partner with multidisciplinary Neurology, Neurosurgery and Critical Care physicians as they care for Neurocritical Care patients admitted to the newly created Neurocritical Care unit.
Practice:
• The Advanced Practitioner will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practitioners, nurses, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, physical therapists and other specialties in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit
• Willingness to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment with a strong interest in the longitudinal care of critically ill neurological patients is required
• Expectation of quality of care standards for all procedures performed and all clinical care provided in the critical care setting
• The new program will boast a state-of-the-art Neuro ICU
• The Neurocritical Care service will be located in a newly renovated, 10-bed unit
• 24/7 Neuro Interventional Program and EEG service available
• Dartmouth-Hitchcock employs more than 20 Neurologists in all sub-specialty areas
• The Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center and is the tertiary referral center for Northern New England
