Critical Care / ICU | 14 Shifts per Month | 7 On / 7 Off

WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking a qualified Critical Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for an opportunity in Potsdam, New York. This position offers the opportunity to care for acutely ill adult patients with a wide variety of medical conditions in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing critically ill adults, working collaboratively with a small clinical team, and committing to a consistent 7-on/7-off schedule.

Assignment Highlights

• Location: Potsdam, New York

• Specialty: Critical Care / ICU

• Provider Type: NP or PA

• Schedule: 14 shifts per month, 7 days on / 7 days off

• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Schedule Requirement: Must be willing to commit to the 7-on/7-off rotation

• Patient Population: Acutely ill adults with a wide variety of medical conditions

• Hospital Size: 109 total beds

• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:10–15

• Department Staffing: 1 provider, 1 NP, and 1 LPN

• EMR: Epic

• Medication Dispensing System: Pyxis

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Active New York State license

• Current AHA BLS certification

• Current ACLS certification

• Ability to manage acutely ill adult patients

• Must be available for 14 shifts per month on a 7-on/7-off schedule, working 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
