Our client is seeking an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or Physician Assistant with recent, hands-on ICU or Critical Care experience to join a Pulmonary & Critical Care team providing overnight coverage in a 10-bed ICU. This is a night ICU provider role in Newport News, VA.
The ideal provider is currently practicing—or has very recently practiced—in an ICU, Critical Care, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Pulmonary/Critical Care environment and is comfortable managing high-acuity adult patients overnight with physician support.

Job Responsibilities
Hospital Medicine or Emergency Medicine experience
Pulmonary/Critical Care experience
Experience managing ventilated and critically ill adult patients
Comfortable with admissions, cross-coverage, rapid response, and overnight ICU management
Experience with central lines, arterial lines, and intubation (or willingness to perform after credentialing)
MUST HAVE
Licensed NP (Acute Care NP preferred) or PA
Active Virginia license (or eligible)
ACLS Certified
Strong ICU clinical decision-making
Comfortable working independently overnight while collaborating with intensivists
Working Hours
Nights: 7 PM – 7 AM
Full-Time or Part-Time
