Length of Assignment: 6 months
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off; 7A–7P or 7P–7A (one day shift, one night shift)
Credentialing: 30 days
Patient Volume: Average daily census ~22; 2–4 admits per day; 49 licensed beds with 6 ICU beds
Procedures: Indirect laryngoscopy intubation; endotracheal intubation and extubation; ventilator management including weaning and oxygen therapy; insertion and management of central venous catheters (CVC) and arterial lines (radial and femoral); arterial and central line placement (percutaneous or cut down); chest tube insertion; lumbar puncture; paracentesis; moderate sedation; tracheostomy care including tube changes; external pacing (epicardial, transvenous, or transcutaneous); emergent management of tension pneumothorax

EMR: Epic/Dragon
Licence Needed: MI
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Details:
Hospital-based ICU role within an open ICU model, with supervising physician support available on-call within 20 minutes. Minimum of 1 year of ICU or relevant experience required, along with the ability to provide 50 cases within the past 12 months. Located in Michigan, offering a mix of urban and natural attractions, including access to lakes, outdoor recreation, and a lower cost of living.
