A hospital in Bergen County is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN/NP) to work an inpatient position in the ICU.

Responsibilities:

The ICU APN will:

• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to ICU patients
• Perform daily rounds with collaborating physician.
• Order, perform or interpret the results of diagnostic tests and screening procedures based on assessment results, interventions, medications, patient responses or treatment changes.
• Collaborate with discharge planning care coordinators for all discharge needs to ensure effective care delivery.
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in nursing required
• Previous critical care or ICU experience
• Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certification a plus
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
