Seeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Inpatient & Outpatient
Overview:
* Join a growing Cardiology team supporting Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology services
* Work directly with an Electrophysiologist and Interventional Cardiologist
* Join a collaborative team of 4 experienced Cardiology APPs
* Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities
* Combination of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
* Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of cardiovascular conditions
* Participate in the management of complex cardiac patients
* Support Electrophysiology services including arrhythmia management and post-ablation care
* Assist with Interventional Cardiology services including post-catheterization care
* Provide follow-up care for patients with pacemakers and other cardiac devices
* Perform inpatient rounding, consultations and outpatient follow-up visits
* Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and care coordinators
* Provide patient education regarding treatment plans, medications and lifestyle modifications
* Structured onboarding and mentorship provided
* Seeking certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP/AGNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
* Iowa licensure eligibility required
* Cardiology experience preferred, but candidates with strong Acute Care or Internal Medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply
* Interest in Electrophysiology and Interventional Cardiology preferred
