Location: Jackson, MI.
2 weeks per month- 7 days on, 7 off. Sunday -Saturday 7:30am -4:00pm. No overnights, no on-call.
Weekend Requirements: Yes
Reason for Coverage: Multiple APP resignations
Practice Setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
Inpatient/Outpatient: 80% IP 20% OP (majority of role will be to staff with physicians for IP rounding)
Leadership/Teaching: Yes
EMR: Epic
Trauma Level: Level II
Average Daily Volume: 20-25 given the IP list
Patient Population: 100% Adult
Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc.: No procedure skills required. Will manage follow up patients on the cardiology IP rounding service, provide discharge instructions and manage post-procedure care.
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days

AANP Board Certified- [REQUIRED]
Acute Care trained [Preferred]
3 years or more of prior experience in an IP and OP setting within cardiology [REQUIRED]
Michigan License at time of name clear- [REQUIRED]
DEA, ACLS & BLS through AHA - [REQUIRED]
Clean background required; no malpractice or license issues, no exceptions [REQUIRED]
Familiarity with Epic EMR system – [Preferred]
Availability: Must be able to accommodate the 7 days on 7 days off schedule (2 weeks per month)- [REQUIRED]
