Coverage Details
-- January 4, 2027 - June 4, 2027
-- Estimated credentialing time frame: 90-120 days

Shift Details
-- Two weeks per month with 7 days on and 7 days off, Sunday through Saturday
-- Day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm
-- Weekend coverage required
-- No overnight or on-call coverage

Requirements
-- Board certified
-- Three or more years of prior cardiology experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
-- Active Michigan license at the time of name clear
-- BLS, ACLS
-- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
-- Acute care trained - Highly Preferred

Assignment Details
-- Facility hiring multiple candidates
-- Inpatient, hospital-based practice setting
-- Patient population is 100% adult, including geriatric patients
-- Practice mix is 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient
-- The majority of the role involves staffing with physicians for inpatient rounding
-- Average daily volume is 20-25 patients based on the inpatient list
-- EMR: Epic
-- Facility Trauma Level: Level II
-- Leadership and teaching responsibilities are included
-- Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service
-- Provide discharge instructions
-- Manage post-procedure care
