Location: Greenville, NC, US.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established outpatient cardiology practice. The provider will work closely with the lead physician in managing an established patient population and providing comprehensive cardiology care.
Job Responsibilities
Assess and manage patients with cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting.
Perform patient evaluations, medical histories, and physical examinations.
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with the lead cardiologist.
Manage cardiac conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
Order and interpret cardiac diagnostic tests as appropriate.
Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
Educate patients on cardiac health and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate patient records and coordinate follow-up care.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active North Carolina NP or PA license, or eligibility to obtain one
Minimum 1 year of Cardiology NP or PA experience required
Comfortable working in a fast-paced independent practice
Strong clinical, communication, and patient-management skills
Working Hours
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
8:00 AM-5:00 PM
No weekends
No evenings
No call
