Provide independent inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care, evaluating and managing acute and chronic cardiac conditions while working closely with cardiologists.
Job Responsibilities
Provide inpatient cardiology care for approximately 10–15 patients daily.
Conduct physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Interpret EKGs proficiently and prescribe appropriate medications.
Perform and interpret cardiac stress tests; training available if needed.
Coordinate referrals and ongoing cardiac management.
Collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in credentialing and insurance enrollment.
Qualifications
Active NJ DEA, CDS, and applicable certifications.
Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience as a PA.
Prior critical care experience required.
Experience independently evaluating and treating cardiac patients.
