Job description
A well-established healthcare organization in Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient cardiology coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for providers seeking a consistent schedule with no call responsibilities in a scenic Pacific Northwest community.
Schedule
- Outpatient clinic setting
- Wednesday through Friday
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- 3 days per week
- Ongoing assignment beginning December 2026
- No call required
- Guaranteed 8-hour shifts
Clinical Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage outpatient cardiology patients
- Provide on-site supervision for:
- Echocardiograms
- Nuclear exercise stress tests
- Cardiac stress testing
- Perform and oversee cardiac device checks
- Interpret EKGs
- Sign off on cardiac device reports
- Work collaboratively with cardiology staff and support personnel
Patient Volume & Support
- Approximately 12 patients per day
- Dedicated clinical support available, including:
- Registered Nurse
- Medical Assistant
- Office support staff
Requirements
- Active Oregon license required
- Board Certified NP or PA with cardiology experience
- DEA certification
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Ability to obtain outpatient privileges
- Epic EMR experience preferred
