Inpatient Cardiology APP | Locum Tenens | Minneapolis, MN
A high-support acute-care hospital is seeking an experienced NP or PA for inpatient Cardiology coverage beginning January 2027.
Opportunity Highlights

Assignment: Ongoing; primary need through July 2027

Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Weekend-only coverage is the biggest need

Full-time weekday coverage also available

Inpatient General Cardiology
-
Strong 1:1 APP-to-MD support
-
Epic EMR
-
Adult patient population
Clinical Responsibilities
-
Round on General Cardiology patients
-
Floor and stepdown rounding
-
Approximately 8–12 patients/day
-
CCU coverage available for appropriately experienced providers
-
Advanced heart failure coverage available based on experience
-
Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
-
Complete documentation and orders in Epic by end of day
Requirements
-
NP/APRN or PA/NCCPA
-
Board certification
-
Active DEA
-
Minimum 2 years of Cardiology experience as an APP
