Job Responsibilities
• Manage conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
• Educate patients on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited PA program with Master’s degree
• Active New York State PA License (or ability to obtain)
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred
• 1+ year outpatient cardiology experience preferred (strong new grads considered)
Working Hours
• Outpatient-focused clinical setting
Skills
• Experience interpreting cardiac diagnostics
• EMR/EHR proficiency (EPIC or similar preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
