We are recruiting a Physician Assistant for a growing cardiovascular practice in southeastern New Mexico offering an opportunity to expand your clinical and procedural experience.

This position combines outpatient cardiology, cardiovascular diagnostics, and exposure to advanced interventional procedures. The practice is seeking a motivated PA who wants to build a long-term career in cardiovascular medicine while enjoying a four-day workweek and a competitive financial package.

Practice Highlights

• Four-day workweek with no nights or weekends.
• Primary practice location and ambulatory surgery center in Carlsbad, NM.
• Regional clinic coverage in Carlsbad, Artesia, Hobbs, and Roswell.
• Approximately 25–30 scheduled patients per day.
• Physician-led environment offering hands-on procedural training and professional development.
• Opportunity to develop increasing clinical autonomy.
• Athena EMR and modern cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.

Travel Requirement: This is a regional position. The selected candidate should be comfortable traveling between the practice's clinic locations in Carlsbad, Artesia, Hobbs, and Roswell as needed.

Advanced Cardiovascular Experience

This opportunity offers exposure to a broad range of cardiovascular procedures and diagnostics, including:

• Loop recorder procedures
• Cardioversions
• Venous closures and varicose vein treatment
• Stress testing and vascular studies
• Echocardiography and Doppler studies
• Angioplasty and catheter-directed thrombolysis
• Exposure to cardiac ablation procedures

The selected candidate will work alongside physician leadership while developing additional cardiovascular knowledge and procedural confidence.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: Starting at $130,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Additional financial incentives and benefits include:

• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000+
• Relocation Assistance: Negotiable and provided with receipts
