Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate.

What You?ll Champion:

• Join WellSpan York Hospital's Nephrology team as a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) supporting inpatient kidney care and nephrology services.
• PRN schedule: Approximately 4 hours per day, 5 days per week, offering flexibility while maintaining consistent patient care coverage.
• Provide dedicated inpatient support for Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) management, anemia follow-up care, e-consults, and in-basket management.
• Nephrology experience required.
• Acute Care, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, or ICU experience preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

• Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
• Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
• Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred

Work Experience:

• 1 year Required

Licenses:

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
• Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

• BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
• Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
