Neonatal NP Opening in Jacksonville, FL We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a collaborative neonatal care team providing coverage across multiple hospitals in the Jacksonville, Florida area. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic clinical environment, strong physician support, flexible extended shifts, and an excellent work-life balance while delivering high-quality care to newborns and critically ill neonates.

  • Rotational weekend coverage included within scheduled shifts
  • Combination of in-house coverage and physician on-call support
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive neonatal care in Level II NICUs and normal newborn nurseries. Attend high-risk and routine deliveries as part of the neonatal care team. Deliver patient care across multiple assigned hospitals within a designated healthcare system. Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team of neonatologists, pediatricians, and advanced practice providers. Practice with a high level of clinical autonomy while supported by in-house neonatologist coverage and on-call physician backup. Maintain high standards of neonatal care and evidence-based clinical practice. Participate in a collegial, team-oriented environment focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes. Practice Environment Coverage across four hospitals within two healthcare systems. Collaborative team including: 6 Neonatologists, 1 Pediatrician, and 16 Advanced Practice Providers Dedicated assignment to a single healthcare system. Strong physician support with both in-house and on-call neonatologist coverage. No transport responsibilities required.
