###NP/PA - Medical Oncology opening Augusta, ME ###Job Summary: Provides primary or acute healthcare services for certain acute or chronic health conditions in specific populations in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. ###Job Description:

  • The Medical Oncology clinic is seeking a 32 hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
  • APPS include Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who collaborate with physicians and other professional to develop and enact a plan of care.
  • Clinic duties include, but are not limited to obtaining histories and performing physical examinations.
  • APPs order and evaluate testing and imaging, make diagnoses, and prescribe pharmacologic and other interventions.
  • They are instrumental in providing continuity and excellence in patient care through their personalized, professional and caring visits.
  • The department is part of a 55,000 square foot cancer center that serves over 1200 new patients annually. ###
