## OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner opening | Waltham, MA Greater Boston — Full-Time Outpatient Practice 12 miles from Boston ## Position Details * Full-time, permanent position * Schedule: 30 hours per week — day shifts * Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN practice * Salary range: $85,332–$112,500 ## Practice Overview Seeking an experienced OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient practice team: * Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate plans of care for a panel of patients * Elicit patient history, perform physical examinations, order screening and diagnostic tests, and establish diagnoses * Develop and implement care plans including treatments and medications within defined practice guidelines * Monitor patient response to therapy and revise plans as indicated with attention to education, counseling, and self-care encouragement * Seek consultation from physicians and other healthcare team members as appropriate * Make referrals as indicated by patient needs * Identify learning needs of patients and staff and collaborate on educational program priorities * Participate in interdisciplinary education programs and provide clinical precepting for nursing, NP, and medical students * Provide leadership supporting practice policies and goals * Influenza vaccination required as a condition of employment ## Compensation & Benefits * Salary range: $85,332–$112,500 * Comprehensive benefits package * Details provided upon inquiry ## Required Qualifications * Master's degree in Nursing — required * Active Massachusetts Nursing License — required * MA Board authorization to practice as an APRN — required * Valid prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA — required * American Heart Association BLS certification — required * 1–3 years of OBGYN work experience as a Nurse Practitioner — required * Competence in providing patient care across all age groups from neonatal through elderly * Computer proficiency including web-based applications and Microsoft Office
