Mobile Wound Care NP treating acute/chronic wounds across homes and facilities. Flexible schedule, pay-per-visit, local travel, with occasional telehealth follow-ups.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform debridement within scope and competency.
- Utilize advanced wound therapies, including NPWT, compression, skin substitutes, biologics, collagen matrices, and specialty dressings.
- Identify and manage complications such as infection, ischemia, osteomyelitis, and delayed healing.
- Complete timely documentation through a mobile EMR while maintaining HIPAA and infection-control compliance.
Qualifications
Active DEA registration when required for prescribing responsibilities.
Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Wound-care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWON, CFNC, or equivalent)
Mobile/home-based wound-care experience
Knowledge of Medicare/Noridian JE documentation requirements
Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary care teams
Proficient with mobile EMR and point-of-care documentation
Working Hours
Provider will manage their availability and workflow within the agreed-upon service area.
Mobile coverage across patient homes, assisted-living facilities, board-and-care homes, skilled nursing facilities, and mobile clinic settings.
Occasional telehealth wound-care follow-ups may be required.
Specific days, hours, expected visits per day, and weekly coverage requirements will be confirmed.
Local travel between assigned patient and facility locations is required.
