Job description
We are recruiting a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to serve as the dedicated Wound Care Provider for a Post Acute Hospital in North Carolina. This role is ideal for an advanced practice provider who enjoys managing complex, high-acuity wounds in medically fragile patients.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive wound assessments and staging
• Manage stage 3 & 4 pressure injuries, surgical wounds, diabetic ulcers, arterial and venous ulcers, ostomies, and traumatic wounds
• Perform sharp and selective debridement
• Manage negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT)
• Apply advanced dressings, biologics, and skin substitutes
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with CMS and Joint Commission standards

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• Daytime hours
• No nights, weekends, or call

Qualifications

Required:
• Active North Carolina NP or PA license
• Eligible for hospital credentialing
• Experience in acute care, LTACH, ICU, or SNF

Preferred:
• WCC or CWOCN certification
• Advanced procedural wound care experience
