Job description
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with urologists to provide comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions. This role includes responsibilities in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounding, pre- and post-operative care, and assisting in procedures as appropriate.

Job Responsibilities
Conduct detailed histories, physical examinations, and assessments.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as urinalysis, imaging studies, and lab work.
Assist in minor office procedures (e.g., catheter placements, cystoscopies, bladder scans).
First-assist in surgical procedures as needed (PA-specific where permitted).
Provide patient education on disease processes, treatment plans, surgical preparation, and post-op care.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
Document visits and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR) accurately and timely.
Participate in inpatient rounds and provide hospital consult coverage (if applicable).
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with scope of practice and state regulations.
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts.
Qualifications
Licensure/Certification:
Current state licensure as a PA or NP.
National certification (NCCPA for PA; AANP/ANCC for NP).
DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience:
Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in urology or a surgical specialty preferred but will train.
New graduates with strong clinical rotations in urology or surgical areas will be considered
