Job description
We are seeking a motivated and clinically strong PA or NP to join a dynamic urology team serving diverse patient populations in the Bronx. This role offers a balanced mix of outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, procedural support, and pre/post-operative management within a collaborative surgical environment in New York.

Job Responsibilities
β’ Perform detailed histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments
β’ Order and interpret urinalysis, labs, and imaging studies
β’ Assist with in-office procedures (catheter placement, cystoscopy support, bladder scans)
β’ First-assist in surgical procedures (PA scope where permitted)
β’ Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
β’ Participate in inpatient rounds and hospital consult coverage as needed
β’ Prescribe medications within scope of practice
β’ Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
β’ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
β’ Support quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives
Qualifications
β’ PA: Masterβs Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
β’ NP: Masterβs or Doctorate in Nursing (Adult, Family, or Acute Care)
Licensure/Certification:
β’ Active New York State PA or NP License
β’ National Certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
β’ DEA registration with prescriptive authority
β’ BLS and ACLS required
Experience:
β’ 1β2 years of urology or surgical specialty experience preferred
β’ New graduates with strong surgical or urology rotations considered
