Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers is seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates for 1099 independent contractor opportunities at our Immediate Care locations in Morris, Channahon, and Diamond, Illinois.

Whether you're looking to supplement your current schedule or prefer the flexibility of contract work, this position allows you to provide timely, hands-on care to patients in the communities we serve.

Position Highlights

• $85/hour | 1099 independent contractor

• Flexible scheduling with shifts based on availability and staffing needs

• Full or partial shifts available

• Weekday hours: 8 a.m.–8 p.m.

• Weekend hours: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

• No call or overnight responsibilities

• Opportunities at three Immediate Care locations: Morris, Channahon, and Diamond

Clinical Practice

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages

• Manage a broad range of acute illnesses and minor injuries

• Perform common urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal

• Provide Occupational Medicine services

• On-site lab, X-ray, and point-of-care testing

• Access to hospital-based diagnostic and specialty services

Qualifications

• Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate

• Active Illinois APRN or PA license

• Previous Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred

• Comfortable practicing independently within the applicable scope of practice and collaboration requirements

• Proficient in common urgent care procedures

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

• DOT Medical Examiner certification required prior to providing DOT examinations
