• Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Nurse Practitioner

• Full-time opportunity

• Active Florida license preferred to expedite onboarding

• Four-day work week: Thursday–Sunday

• Schedule:

  • Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM

  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Shifts include a one-hour lunch

• See an average of 25+ patients per day

• Patient population includes:

  • Acute care patients

  • DOT physicals

  • Workers’ compensation patients

  • Auto accident patients

  • Overflow from the adult medicine clinic

• Procedures and clinical responsibilities include:

  • Splinting — no casting

  • Suturing

  • Incision and drainage (I&D)

  • Lesion removal

  • Point-of-care testing, including COVID-19, flu, strep, pregnancy testing, UA dipsticks, and more

  • Nebulizer treatments

  • Pulmonary function testing (PFT)

• DOT certification preferred

  • Candidates without DOT certification must be willing to work toward obtaining it

• Outpatient setting

• EMR: Athena
