Job description
Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team. The primary responsibilities include managing medical department objectives and personnel, practicing clinical urgent caroccupational medicine, supporting corporate medical initiatives, partnering with the business, and promoting employee health and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Practice Clinical Urgent Care/Occupational Medicine, involving diagnosis and treatment of injuries, conducting surveillance, managing disability, and leading preventive health activities.
- Support Corporate Medical Initiatives through training, special projects, and policy reviews.
- Partner with the Business to provide health guidance and support to various plant staff including HR, safety, and ergonomics.
- Promote Employee Health and Wellbeing through health education, coaching, and participation in meetings related to health and safety.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in the appropriate field (PA) or a Master of Science degree in Nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (NP) required.
- PA certification or Board certification is required.
- Valid medical license in the State(s) of practice.
- Preferred experience in Occupational Health, ER, or Urgent Care.
Schedule/Shift
3 days per week, 6am-2:30pm. Flexible on days.
