Job description
We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing Locum Tenens Urgent Care opportunity in North Carolina. This is an outpatient-only position providing care to both adult and pediatrics patients in a fast-paced urgent care environment.
Position Highlights
- ASAP start
- Ongoing assignment
- Outpatient setting
- Scheduled clinical hours only
- Epic EMR
- Average 45 patients per shift
- No call requirements
- No hospital privileges required
- Sole provider coverage with support staff available
Requirements
- Active North Carolina NP license
- Active NC DEA
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- BLS required
- Minimum 12 months of experience
- Experience treating adults and pediatrics patients (6 months and older)
- Epic experience preferred
- New graduates will not be considered
Practice Details
- Adult and pediatricS patient population
- Minor urgent care procedures
- No admissions, rounding, or inpatient responsibilities
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 20 days
