We are seeking a highly skilled and confident Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our fast-paced Urgent Care team in Georgia. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in an independent setting, delivers high-quality patient care, and excels in clinical decision-making. The ideal candidate is efficient, experienced, and comfortable managing a wide variety of urgent care cases across diverse patient populations.

Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients ages 2 and up in an urgent care setting
Function independently as the sole provider during assigned shifts
Interpret and manage diagnostic tests, including labs and X-rays (extremities and chest)
Communicate results to patients, including follow-up on positive findings
Perform procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage (I&D), digital blocks, and pelvic exams
Maintain efficiency by seeing 3–4 patients per hour while ensuring high-quality care
Accurately document all patient encounters in the EMR
Complete and sign all charts before the end of each shift

Qualifications

Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Georgia
No history of malpractice claims or disciplinary actions of any kind
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an urgent care or clinical setting (urgent care experience required)
Ability to work independently as a solo provider for full 12-hour shifts
Comfortable treating pediatric through adult populations (ages 2+)
Proficiency with EMR systems and timely chart completion

Working Hours

A minimum of 12 shifts a month.
Urgent Care is open 7 days a week

Proficiency in reading and interpreting X-rays independently
Advanced procedural skills without supervision
Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities
Clear and compassionate patient communication
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong attention to detail in documentation and follow-up care
