Job description Join a fast-paced urgent care team providing high-quality care for patients with acute illnesses and minor injuries. The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions, perform minor procedures, and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure efficient, patient-centered care. Job Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and minor injuries
Perform physical exams and obtain medical histories
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, X-rays, rapid tests)
Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans
Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, and incision and drainage
Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure quality patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Assist with triage and prioritize patients based on clinical urgency
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support clinic operations

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current, active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
National board certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP)
DEA license and ability to prescribe medications
Current BLS and ACLS certification
1–2+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency, or primary care preferred
Ability to diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
Experience with minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision and drainage, etc.)
Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Working Hours

Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Sat - Sun 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
