About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care coverage at a busy outpatient clinic in Denver, Colorado. This locum assignment offers consistent 12-hour day shifts, a steady patient volume, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services for patients of all ages
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries
- Manage pediatric patients ages 3 months and older
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Practice Velocity EMR
- Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified – Required
- Comfortable treating pediatric and adult patients
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
Working Hours
- 12-hour day shifts
- Dates as needed
- Average daily volume: 30–45 patients
Skills
- Hourly Rate: Up to $75/hr
