Position Summary
The facility is seeking an experienced and compassionate Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated, patient-centered team in Bronx, NY.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of urgent and non-emergent conditions.
Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, wound care, abscess drainage, and medication administration as appropriate.
Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests, including labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
Prescribe and manage medications consistent with clinical guidelines and best practices.
Provide patient education and counseling on diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive health measures.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN or DNP).
Licensure & Certification: Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner license in New York; national certification required.
Experience: Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
