About the Opportunity:

Are you a compassionate and mission-driven healthcare provider? We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team at the Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), a pivotal healthcare facility within the Shiprock Service Unit (SRSU). Serve approximately 80,000 active users across New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, providing essential care to the Navajo community and beyond.

Comprehensive Care: NNMC is a 69-bed facility with a robust Emergency Department designated as a Level IV trauma center and certified as Peds Ready. Our medical center ensures top-notch care for patients of all ages, with a diverse range of specialty services including behavioral health, pediatrics, OB/GYN, and more.

Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a dedicated team of 50 physicians, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a collaborative work environment. Our support staff includes nurses and techs, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses

Perform comprehensive examinations for adults and children

Participate in quality improvement and patient safety projects

Communicate effectively with collaborating physicians or specialists

Requirements:

Board-certified NP with an active, unrestricted license and DEA from any state or US territory

ACLS, BLS certifications

Commitment to serving rural, Tribal, and underserved healthcare populations

Passionate about social medicine and mission-driven healthcare

Work Schedule:

10-hour shifts in SuperTrack with flexible start times

Average patient load of 12-19 patients per day

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive pay: $90 - $95/hour

Malpractice coverage, including tail insurance
