Description
Noor Locums is seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Springfield, Oregon.
This role offers flexible weekday and weekend call coverage, inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, and hands-on OR first-assist opportunities. The NP will work alongside a physician and support vascular and endovascular surgical care.
Job Responsibilities
Participate in 10-hour and 24-hour weekday and weekend call shifts.
Report for handoff and rounding at the beginning of applicable 7 AM shifts.
Round on patients and assist with admissions.
First-assist in the operating room.
Assist with in-clinic vascular procedures.
Support vascular and endovascular patient care.
Document patient care using Epic.
Qualifications
Active Oregon license required for the listed position.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, as applicable.
Epic experience required.
Documentation of clinical services representative of requested privileges within the previous 24 months.
Surgical case logs from the last 24 months documenting first-, second-, or third-assist experience in general surgery or surgical subspecialties.
For first-assist privileges, documentation of training and competency, including procedure types and volumes over the past two years and primary surgeon contact information.
Ability to work collaboratively with a supervising or collaborating physician.
Working Hours
Assignment approval: Up to six months.
Clinic hours: 8 AM–4:30 PM.
Weekday call options:
10-hour shifts: 7 AM–5 PM or 5 PM–7 AM (beeper call).
24-hour shifts: 7 AM–7 AM.
Weekend call: 24-hour shifts.
Approximately six call shifts per month.
7 AM start shifts require handoff and rounding at the beginning of the shift.
Inpatient and outpatient coverage.
Average patient volume: approximately 15–20 per day.
