Description
Noor Locums is seeking an experienced Vascular Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a combined inpatient and outpatient opportunity in Springfield, Oregon. This position offers a mix of vascular/endovascular patient care, surgical first-assist responsibilities, clinic support, rounding, and call coverage.
The APP will work alongside a MD/DO vascular surgeon and will not practice independently. The practice sees approximately 15–20 vascular/endovascular patients per day and includes a 36-bed inpatient service.
Multiple call structures are available, including 10-hour weekday call, overnight beeper call, weekday 24-hour call, and weekend 24-hour call.
Current coverage needs include several October–December dates, with preference for candidates holding an active Oregon license who can cover the earlier dates.
Job Responsibilities
First assist in vascular and endovascular surgical procedures
Assist with clinic-based vascular procedures
Perform inpatient rounding and patient evaluations
Participate in admissions and ongoing inpatient management
Provide vascular/endovascular consultations
Participate in scheduled call coverage
Report at the beginning of applicable 7:00 AM shifts for handoff and rounding
Work collaboratively with vascular surgeons and the multidisciplinary care team
Document patient care using Epic EMR
Provide care within established clinical privileges and scope of practice
Qualifications
Active Oregon NP license required for the assignment
Candidates with an active Oregon license are preferred for October/November coverage
Candidates without an Oregon license may be considered for later coverage dates
BLS required
ACLS required
Epic experience required
Vascular surgery experience required
Surgical first-assist experience required
Must provide documentation of clinical services representative of requested privileges within the previous 24 months
Surgical case log from the previous 24 months required
Documentation of first, second, or third-assist experience in General Surgery and/or surgical subspecialties required
First-assist applicants must provide documentation of training and competency, including types and number of procedures performed during the previous two years and primary operator information
Must meet facility credentialing and privileging requirements
Working Hours
Overnight beeper call: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekday 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Weekend 24-hour call: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Approximately 6 call shifts per month
Both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
1.0 FTE
Initial assignment begins October 3, 2026
Assignment approval currently extends approximately 6 months
8 hours of orientation

October 3–4: 24-hour coverage
October 26: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
November 25: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
November 26–29: 24-hour coverage
December 24: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
December 31: 5:00 PM–7:00 AM
Additional coverage dates may be available.
