Job Description:
We are seeking a Locum NP or PA to support the Vascular Surgery team at York Hospital. This role is hospital-based, providing direct patient care, consults, rounding, and OR assistance for qualified candidates. You will work alongside a skilled surgical team, nursing staff, and residents in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Round on hospitalized vascular surgery patients
- Perform consults and assessments
- Assist in the OR, if qualified
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC
- Collaborate with nursing staff and residents to coordinate patient care
Job Responsibilities
Hospital Bed Size: 596 beds
Patient Population: Adults (18+)
Practice Setting: Hospital-based, York Hospital (500+ beds)
EMR: EPIC
Support Staff: Nursing staff and residents
Qualifications
Certification: NP or PA
Licensure: PA license required
DEA: Required
Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred
Credentialing: 90 days; temp credentialing available with clean file
