Shifts: 10 hours (7a-5p) or 12 hours (7a-7p)
Call: 1 weeknight call and 1 weekend day per call week
Clinic: Typically 1-2 MDs in clinic per day with 1 NP present Monday-Friday; additional APP 1-2x/week
Patients scheduled: 9a-3:30p
Rounds required prior to clinic
Setting: Inpatient/acute care and clinic
Support staff: 6 MDs, 1 RN, 4 MAs
Patient population: Adults
Patient volume: Varies
EMR: Epic
Procedures: Diagnostic/therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, primary surgical management of complex wounds
Requirements Board Certified in Neurosurgery, Active South Carolina medical license
