Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a resident team to round on patients and develop care plans
- Perform patient care tasks and manage discharge orders
- Engage in order entry and assessments, focusing on patients that "need to be seen"
- Assist with patient management without entering the OR
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Neurosurgery
- Minimum of 1-year experience in neurosurgery
- Massachusetts State License required
- Ability to remove drains (hemovac / jp drains) preferred
Working Hours
- 3x 13-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- No night or holiday shifts
Skills
- Proficiency with Epic EMR/Charting Software
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Excellent patient assessment skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
