Please find the job details below for the NP position in Neurosurgery.
Location: Greenville, SC.
Job Details:
Coverage: Scheduled + On Call required.
-Coverage needed per month (24hr / hourly shifts / shifts + call, etc): 10hr (7am-5pm) or 12hr (7am-7pm) shifts with 1 weeknight call and one weekend day per call week.
-Frequency of any Call needed: 1 weeknight call and one weekend day per call week. (call is onsite).
Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc.): Typically, 1-2 MDs in clinic per day with 1 NP present Monday-Friday.
Additional APP present 1-2x per week. Patients scheduled 9am-3:30pm. Rounds required prior to the clinic.
Work Details:
Support staff: 6 MDs, 1 RN, 4 MAs
Patient Volume: varies
Patient Age Group: Adults
EMR/Documentation System: Epic
Procedures
Inpatient/acute care setting, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, primary surgical of complex wounds.
Credentialing/Privileging Timeframe: 60-90 days
Requirements
- Resume/CV (No Gaps more than 30 days)
- A Self-Query NPDB report is required at the time of presentation (Should be pulled within 30 days) - Required
- Board certified - Required
- Active SC license - Required
- Willing To License?: No
- ATLS- Preferred
- DEA - Yes
- Clean background/no malpractice- Required.
