This facility is a well-established, faith-based hospital offering a full range of inpatient medical services, including advanced neurointerventional surgery capabilities. The hospital provides a collaborative and supportive environment with strong leadership and a commitment to high-quality patient care.Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - NeurovascularJob Details:
- Provide coverage for 3 12-hour shifts per week on a locum basis until a permanent provider is hired
- Shifts available are 7a-7p and 7p-7a; availability for night shifts is required
- Respond to code strokes as part of the neurointerventional surgery team
- Provide post-procedure inpatient care for neurointerventional surgery patients
- 100% inpatient/hospital-based practice setting
- Patient population is adult and geriatric only
- Document using EPIC EMR system
- Board Certification through AANP is required
- Active Virginia state license required
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Neurocritical care nursing experience required
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required - no exceptions
- Estimated credentialing timeframe of 120 days; temporary credentialing available
- Travel reimbursements approved for airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage at IRS rate
Compensation:
